With the success of their massive first single 'Muddy Funk Love' and the relentless force of their second single 'Hairy Mary', professional cage-rattlers and favourite Covid-free rock outfit 2020, The Dagwood Dogs are proud to announce their 3rd child, 'Boomslang'!

Forming 4 years ago to play at Woodford Folk Festival, these lads have chased the scene up and down the East Coast in search of a musical home and landed in Brisbane, Australias fountain of sauce! Since then their particular brand of Rock and Roll has had them play alongside some incredible Australian artists such as the Lachy Doley Group and Danny Widdicombe to name a few. Their hard-hitting riffs mixed with sultry groove and infectious hooks will have you on your feet and dIzZy!

Joining them on the night is female-fronted rock vessel Elko Fields, crafting a cut-throat and unforgiving twist to dark blues and garage rock n’ roll. A body, morphed to a Les Paul ‘Black Beauty’, scattering thunderous blues-infused riffs to sweetened sassy vocals. With rock n’ roll the wagon to a journey of shredded love, existentialism and cosmic insignificance, Elko Fields oozes rawness and vulnerability as a cut the bullshit front-woman. Likened to bands The Dead Weather for her unorthodox approach to rock, Royal Blood for their mammoth live presence, Vee breaks all rules of structure with un-expecting time changes, eerie semi-tone bends, with the essence of Nick Cave and PJ Harvey darkness, slightly brutal, razor-like hair and boots unpolished.

Ticket price includes a $20 bar tab available to be redeemed upon arrival.
