Fast, funny and irreverent Shakespeare performed in your local pub. This troupe of actors will have you dying with laughter, singing along with pub classics, and most importantly, doing something you never thought you'd do. Love Shakespeare.

Synopsis
Rosalind and her best mate Celia are banished to the mysterious Forest of Arden, after catching the eye of the dashing Orlando at a wrestling match...as you do.

What comes next is a story of cross-dressing, dodgy poetry, classic love songs, and plenty of ridiculous gags.

About Bar'd Work
Bar'd Work are Sydney's favourite pub Shakespeare company. Formed in 2019, we've brought sellout shows to Sydney, Melbourne, and regional NSW and Victoria. Our first year saw us take our unique treatment to Much Ado About Nothing, and Twelfth Night. We are back with a bang in 2020 with the hilarious comedy As You Like It.

Reviews:

"What an epically, hilarious night. My cheeks are sore from laughing. That was the way Shakespeare wanted his plays to be shown."

"Funniest night in a long time!"

"The best Shakespeare I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot!"

"Thoroughly entertaining and very funny. If only Shakespeare had been this much fun at school, I might have paid more attention."

"It was truly brilliant. I loved every second of it. Imaginative, innovative, full of music, surprises and naughtiness!"

"Hilarious night. Smiled and laughed until it hurt."
