The Spindrift Saga with The Trepids, The Colby's & Zenith Mo

The Spindrift Saga's 'What Lies Beneath' Summer Tour comes to Melbourne. They will be joined by special guests The Trepids, The Colby's and Zenith Moon.

The Spindrift Saga
Hailing from the South Coast of NSW, The Spindrift Saga are alternative/funk rock band known for tight live shows, energetic performances, "catchy rhythms, bright licks" and memorable songs. In the last few years they have toured extensively and supported the likes of The Living End, Thirsty Merc, The Rubens, British India and other music industry heavyweights. The Spindrift Saga's debut full length record "Badnormous" has received airplay around the country and cemented the band’s unique place in the alternative rock scene. They also recently released three singles "In and out of Love", "Smile" and "Batsh!t Bay". In 2017, The Spindrift Saga played their first international shows in Japan. 2020 will see the band release their sophomore album, further local tours and a return to Japan.

The Trepids
Since their humble beginnings, The Trepids have evolved from a rambunctious folk-punk duo into a broad musical force—boasting an energetic and dynamic live show that has filled and thrilled rooms across Melbourne’s music scene, as well as a string of successful independent releases that brilliantly serve as place-markers for the growth of the ambitious young band.

The Colby's
Forming in 2015, from the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, The Colby's have been working on creating their alternative funk/rock sound. The band met through mutual friends and common aspirations. Influenced by the magic of the 70's while also being inspired by the new breed of music out today, The Colby's aim to combine those times while also creating something new and special. The band are ready to make a serious impact in the Australian music scene after releasing their debut EP "Skin" in 2019.

Zenith Moon
Do you ever wonder what would happen if Led Zeppelin went home with the Baby Animals and Aretha Franklin after a wine mixer? That beautiful night would surely bring into existence a delicious love child named Zenith Moon. With strong attention to songwriting, the group delivers soaring anthemic melodies, melt-your-face guitar solos and mind altering drum work; all served degustation style in a live performance with an aftertaste that’ll make even Gordon Ramsay crack a smile.
