Three – Lister, Lane, Shechter: CANCELLED

Three is a rare treat—a triple bill featuring Cult by Hofesh Shechter and new commissions by Jack Lister and Melanie Lane.

It represents a series of incredible firsts for Australian Dance Collective, including our very first mainstage performance under the company’s new name (formerly Expressions Dance Company).

Three features world premieres from Lister and Lane, the Australian premiere of Cult and it will be the first time Shechter’s work will be performed for Brisbane audiences.

Cult, presented in association with Hofesh Shechter Company, is the short work for six dancers that propelled Shechter into his globally-renowned career. Instinctive and raw, it is a powerful illustration of Shechter’s unique and acclaimed choreography.

Melanie Lane, one of Australia’s strongest female choreographic voices, will develop a new commission with a new score from her long-time collaborator, Clark.

Rising star and new company artist, Jack Lister, will create an ambitious collaboration with a major Australian gallery partner—producing a mainstage performance work coupled with an immersive foyer experience.
