"The show must go on," that's the catch cry of the Tinbeerwah Art Group (T.A.G.) this year.

COVID-19 is not going to stop members holding their annual art show in Tinbeerwah Hall from September 18-20. Owing to COVID-19 restrictions they are unable to have their usual gala opening but the exhibition will be just as spectacular as previous years.

Once again this year T.A.G. is donating funds raised from gold coin door entry, raffle and artists donations to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice at Doonan. The raffle includes a beautiful painting donated by T.A.G. member Fay White and a lovely gift basket full of items donated by T.A.G. members.
Tinbeerwah Art Group was founded by retired art teacher the late Gwen Blair in1994 The group has grown from a few friends meeting on a Thursday morning to a membership over seventy local artists who paint in two groups on Thursday and Friday mornings.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic classes were suspended for 3 months but artists continued to pain during "Lockdown". Members were delighted to be able to resume classes in late June with restricted numbers and strict social distancing. T.A.G. Committee member Jan Cooke said "Members have been delighted to resume painting with their fellow artists - they had missed the social interaction of their weekly classes. We are not going to let COVID-19 stop us. We are planning our biggest and best ever Art Show. there will be paintings to suit every taste all for sale at reasonable prices." Check out the Tinbeerwah Art Group Facebook page.

T.A.G. looks forward to welcoming you to the annual Art Show.
