Double MOBO Award Winning Saxophonist YolanDa Brown is the premier female saxophonist in the UK.

Her music is a delicious fusion of Jazz, Reggae, and Soul and her albums, “April Showers May Flowers” and “Love Politics War” both peaked at No1 on the Jazz Charts.

YolanDa has toured with The Temptations, Diana Krall, Billy Ocean and collaborated with artists such as; Snarky Puppy’s Bill Laurance, Rick Astley, Omar, Reggae Legend Bob Marley’s son Julian Marley and as part of Jools Holland’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

A broadcaster too - YolanDa is a co presenter on BBC Radio 4 Loose Ends with Clive Anderson and she presents 2 radio shows on British Airways.

On Television, she presents at the Proms for BBC 4, BBC Young Jazz Musician, Gospel choir of the year for BBC 1 and recently appeared on Celebrity Mastermind.

Series 2 of her children’s TV show YolanDa’s Band Jam on CBeebies is about to go on air, following the recent award of Best Children’s programme (pre - school), at the Royal Television Society NW Awards.

She is a Foodie and can complete a Rubik's cube in under 5 minutes…on a good day! YolanDa loves to race cars, fast cars! You can usually find her driving at a racing track on her days off.

Awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts by the University of East London, YolanDa has played to Presidents, Heads of States and invited to meet the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace.

She is an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, Children and the Arts she was recently appointed Chair of the biggest music education charity in the UK - Youth Music.

This concert features music from her critically acclaimed albums, plus many crowd favourites. A real renaissance woman, set to reach new heights, join YolanDa Brown for a fantastic evening of sunshine music as she returns to Australia.
