Immerse yourself in the sounds of Japan, Russia and beyond with concert pianist Yoshio Hamano, accompanied by a delicious borscht courtesy of Dining Room Tales. Japanese‐Russian pianist Yoshio Hamano is visiting Australia this month as a guest artist of A is for Atlas, in order to perform Breathe, part of Atlas’s much loved Dining Room Tales series.
Born in Tokyo, Hamano has been a prize winner of many major international piano competitions, such as the Nordic Piano Competition in Malmö, Almaty International Piano Competition, International Russian Music Piano Competition in San Jose CA, and Minoru Nojima Yokosuka Piano Competition.
Tempo Rubato are delighted to take the opportunity during his visit to host Hamano for a recital of works by J. S. Bach, Rachmaninov, Chopin and Shostakovich, a program he recently premiered in Nagoya. We look forward to introducing you to this very talented young pianist.
