12-Week Bandemic Night - The Jensens with Syrup, Go On

Bearded Dragon Hotel Tamborine presents our 12 Week 'Bandemic' Band Nights!

It's 2021 and we’re kickstarting Live Music to the Scenic Rim with a big warm hug to musos, after the Year that was 2022.

This Friday 18th of June we have the Bold Brisbane Boys of 'The Jensens' with their Pals 'Syrup, Go On' to kickstart us all off for the Night!

In 2019, The Jensens worked tirelessly to re-establish their unique sound in Australian music. Their self-produced, debut album ‘Hyacinth Haze’ saw them progress from the vintage garage pop of earlier EP’s to a bolder, more classic approach of songwriting. A clever mix of musical styles and production resulted in a grand, often enigmatic vision of the modern world.

March 13th saw The Jensens release their first single of the year, 'River Of Gold', a majestic, Ziggy-Era, Bowie inspired track, with hints of Arcade Fire and MGMT. Now in October the band have dropped their explosive new track ‘Paper Walls’, a dancefloor-filler about picking yourself up from a self doubt spiral. Both tracks come ahead of the release of the bands sophomore album, ‘Hammer & Blush’, set for release on May 21st 2021.

Entry is free (pay as you can) so grab your favourite crazy crew for a road trip to discover Tamborine and cross another crazy experience off your new ‘bucket list’ as you wait for the next festival. Launch night from Friday 30th April!

The fireplace is sparking up and heaters on in our Ballroom; so every day is perfect when you are at the Dragon! Outdoor Garden is fully festive with festoon lighting and water misters to cool you down on a hot day! Breakfast served from 9am weekdays and 8 am on Saturday & Sundays here in Tamborine.

Our Playground is all equipped for the Things the little people love, plus not to mention the Alpacas and Goats we have in our Paddock.
