A unique physical theatre performance for children and families, A Bee Story is a kaleidoscope of circus, acrobatics, dance, and live music. When Queen Bee and Worker Bee must work together to rebuild their hive, things never go quite to plan.
Exploring themes of environmentalism, sustainability, and community, A Bee Story is created and directed by Australian performer and director Robbie Curtis (Circa, Cirque du Soleil, Circus Oz, Australian Ballet), and co-created by musician and performer Lizzie McRae.
Join the bees on their buzzy adventures and enter their floral world – be enchanted by their pollen-collecting skills, honey-making abilities, and super-bee strength.
There will be a free bee workshop at 9.30am on the HOTA Café Terrace.
Presented by HOTA, Home of the Arts, ARC Circus Dance Theatre and Cluster Arts.
