A much look forward to event! A summer evening in Norwood, SA, a glass of wine and an hour of music. Last summer the orchestra played Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2.
This summer listen to a concerto, Frank Bridge's 'Oration" for cello and orchestra and Shostakovich "October" A Tone Poem celebrating the Russian revolution.
The soloist is Simon Cobcroft, principal cello at the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra with conductor, Nicholas Braithwaite.
A brilliant orchestra and a wonderful evening with friends.
