An Evening With Ian Maurice and Red Lopez

Ian Maurice has spent a lifetime in the entertainment industry. Whether it’s in front of the cameras on national television, on air at Radio 4BC with Brisbane’s top rating evening show or performing in front of thousands or hundreds Ian knows his audience and they love him.

TV viewers were first awoken to Ian’s musical side when, in 1987, he appeared on Channel Nine’s Midday Show as a jazz singer. Little did they know that music had always been part of Ian’s life.
More TV appearances followed on Midday and on Bert Newton’s GMA on Channel Ten and many other TV shows.

Ian admits he had been “pigeon holed” as a sports presenter but since leaving the media he has gained a reputation as one of Australia’s best entertainers.

His musical partnership with pianist Red Lopez will be on show at Spaghetti and Jazz on Sunday October 24th from 6.30 p.m.
