Three Fates Theatre Company will present the Australian premiere of ANALOG, a cinematic play by QPAS-nominated playwright, Thalia Dudek. In this darkly humorous drama, a group of young anarchists count down their final minutes of anonymity before the revolution begins.

From Denton Wharf in near-future London, five rebels working for the guerrilla group, Analog, live in a world where data is more expensive than oil. Oculus has taken over the government and implemented a data dictatorship, using privileged information to rig elections, dominate the stock market, and track their citizens’ every move.

Operating out of an abandoned shipping container, the group go over their plan: break into Oculus HQ, erase the data holding the population hostage, then get out before deploying a chemical weapon designed to kill the bulk of the Oculus enforcers. The plan isn’t flawless; the blueprints are old, their intel is patchy, and they all know that in a few hours, at least one of them will be dead.

In a glass moment where the political becomes personal, these young idealists are faced with the shattering reality that danger may be closer to home than they ever realised.
