Bali: Island of the Dogs

We’re inviting all Bali enthusiasts and dog lovers to come along to an intimate premiere screening of the beautiful and insightful documentary Bali: Island Of The Dogs, organised by BAWA WA.

The film, directed by Dean Allan Tollhurst, presented by Lawrence Blair, and remastered by SavEarth Media, explores the mysticism, cultural place, and the genetic history of the island’s indigenous canine custodians and the threats to their very existence.

Bali is a popular holiday destination and even a second home for some of our Perth neighbours. While global pandemics and border closures keep us apart, we encourage you to join us from afar in supporting this island and the beautiful Bali Dogs that call it home.

The price of your ticket will provide one life-saving vaccine for a puppy in need, and you will also have the opportunity to meet with representatives of BAWA WA and learn more about supporting Bali Animal Welfare Association from home.
