The Better Futures Forum is the Better Futures Australia communities’ first event spanning three days, 17-19 August, 2021, to drive nationwide climate action. In light of the pandemic, the Forum will be held in a dynamic virtual space that connects individuals through interactive plenary sessions, lightning talks, workshops, exhibits and entertainment across a number of virtual stages.

Join us for the best opportunity of the year to engage decision-makers and interact with and be inspired by climate champions across all corners of society and the economy. Discover and share actions underway and plan how we can work together to create better futures for us all.

Climate champions across all corners of society and the economy will showcase scalable climate solutions and demonstrate the potential to drive action and realise zero emissions futures. The Forum will also engage decision-makers in updating climate commitments and delivering the national response we need.

The Forum is an initiative of Better Futures Australia, supported by Climate Action Network Australia and partners. Better Futures Australia's network of partners are amplifying climate work already underway by bringing together public and private sector leaders to scale success stories and demonstrate Australia’s readiness for an ambitious national response to climate change. Together, we are building local cross-sectoral networks, showcasing individual and collaborative climate action, and inviting all Australians to join a growing community of climate champions in advocating for a national response that will reach zero emissions by 2050 or sooner.
