Join exhibition curator Melissa Stannard for an in depth discussion around the exhibition 'Song lines: Lines of Connecting, Dreaming and Remembering'. Melissa Stannard is a Yuwallaraay artist, jeweller, researcher and poet. A graduate of Griffith University with a Bachelors degree in Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art, Melissa is a Kungullanji graduate scholar and mentor, with a passion for helping and connecting community to the healing practises of art.

'Song lines: Lines of Connecting, Dreaming and Remembering' is supported by Creative Arts Alliance.

Part of 'Connecting Stories', a first of its kind cross-regional project showcasing First Nations art and culture through exhibitions, public art trails, tours, workshops, artist talks and events across six local governments within the SEQ North region. 'Connecting Stories' has been developed through a partnership between Creative Arts Alliance as part of the Regional Arts Services Network, Blaklash Creative and members of the SEQN Galleries Network - Gympie Regional Art Gallery, Noosa Regional Gallery, Caloundra Regional Gallery, USC Art Gallery, Moreton Bay Regional Galleries, The Condensery: Somerset Regional Art Gallery and Redland Art Gallery.
