Known for her rich tones and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie Bornstein enchants audiences with her emotive delivery and brings a powerful energy to every performance. Jackie is one of Melbourne's most captivating singers and is a regular at Melbourne's finest jazz venues.

Joined by exciting guitarist James Sherlock and the hard swinging Philip Rex on bass, Jackie will celebrate some of the most influential jazz singers of all time. From childhood, Jackie was influenced by the virtuosity and grace of Ella Fitzgerald, the unique expression of Billie Holiday, the swinging elegance of Peggy Lee and the powerful delivery of Nina Simone.

Drawing on the repertoire of these jazz greats, Jackie will pour her heart into songs of love, longing and protest. Featuring tunes by Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim and more.
