Jackie Bornstein is one of Melbourne’s most captivating singers, known for her rich tones and ability to get to the heart of a tune. Jackie’s performances explore music from across the globe, sharing universal stories from near and far.
Jackie will lead her colleagues in a mixture of beautiful ballads, swing and bossa nova tunes. Featuring music by Duke Ellington, Peggy Lee, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Edith Piaf, Maria Grever, Charles Trenet, Jackie Bornstein and more.
Joining Jackie on stage will be the exciting guitarist James Sherlock (Katie Noonan, James Taylor, Cyrille Aimee), the masterful bassist Ben Hanlon (Hugh Blanes, Bopstretch, MSO) and the exuberant Hugh Harvey on drums (The Meltdown, Paper Planes, Stock).
