Infamous roots-dub-reggae troubadours, based on the Bundjalung lands of Byron Bay's hinterland, are returning to the Lazybones stage to celebrate their 2021 album release and first ever vinyl. Titled ‘The Children of the Sun’, mixed by aria winning Paulie Bromley, the album has already reached #7 on the AIR independent charts and the singles have been played across 50+ radio stations including JJJ, 2SER, 4ZZZ and many more.

Featuring the epic Shakedown band including; the powerhouse rhythm section of Hugh Jones and Tk Dread, multi-instrumentalists Chelsea McNelliey and Elena Marcigot playing saxophones, clarinet, melodica and backing voices, flavoured by the live dubs and effects of Marky Power and songsmith Jesse Morris on vocals and guitars.

A collection of rebel songs honouring the legacy and sounds of Caribbean roots music. Celebrating community & culture.
