Lucy Lorenne
Lucy Lorenne. Singer, Songwriter. Speaking and singing in English, some French, a little Spanish. Recognised for her engaging storytelling and stage presence, Lucy has been writing songs since she was old enough to put words to music and is currently recording her first EP. With her honest and captivating lyrics and her soulful and moving vocals, Lucy evokes names such as Julia Jacklin, Hiatus Kaiyote or Laura Marling. Lucy has played with various line-ups including the Soul/Motown band The Sweethearts and Funk/Pop band Square 1, but this time it’s a good mix of folk and indie rock as Lucy and her band perform some of her most recent compositions, plus one or two funked-up covers for good measure. One groove session not to be missed!

See Lucy Lorenne live at the Workers Club on Sunday 20th June with support acts Hassall and Tom Riccioni.

Set Times:
7:30 Hassall
8:30 Tom Riccioni
9:30 Lucy Lorenne

Hassall
Hassall is a 22yr old singer-songwriter & self-confessed rambler from the bottom right corner of regional Victoria. Stirring together addictive vocal hooks, taboo topics & lyrics that are relatable in the way you don’t want to admit, she emerges into a style self-described as ‘Australian sharehouse-pop’. Fresh, yet familiar, jangly guitar and countrysoulsex-esque vocals compliment her inexhaustible lyrics, just as conversational as they are confessional, self-critical and considerably crude.

Tom Riccioni
In these strange times where people are itching for authenticity, Tom Riccioni offers his mesmerising honest songwriting & captivating charisma. His open approach to music traverses the relatable themes and questions that arise in everyday life. Tom will be accompanied by Adrian Verna on guitar & Patrick Pheasant on Double Bass.

We acknowledge that the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation are the traditional custodians of the land on which The Workers Club operates. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
