Melbourne Conservatoire of Ballet presents our Performance Unit Assessments onstage at the Gasworks Theatre.
Due to the multiple lockdowns in Melbourne, the cancellation of our regular Mid Year Display and End of Year Production, we wanted to give students the opportunity to perform again in a theatre environment. We wanted our students to feel the excitement of a live audience and to remember what the hard work of lessons on zoom for - to be able to dance again.
Logistically complicated organising a presentation with restrictions on numbers, the possibilities of students or staff having to go into isolation, we present short sections of classical repertoire, solos for our graduating 2nd year students as well as a small contemporary dance performance.
