Transform your broken ceramic heirlooms into practical and beautiful garden pots over our 2 x 2-hour workshops with the wonderful Bec Hoole.
About This Event:
Join us for our April Eco-Art workshop where we’ll help you transform ordinary garden pots into beautiful and funky messy mosaics.
We will provide an assortment of ceramics and discarded garden pots for the workshop but we encourage participants to bring along broken crockery or tea sets, which you’d love to incorporate into the final piece.
If you'd like to bring in some sentimental ceramics then the ideal thickness is approximately 0.3cm to 0.5cm thick.
This is a 4-hour workshop broken over two Saturdays:
Saturday the 10th of April from 10 am to 12 pm:
- Stage 1 – glue ceramics and grout
Saturday the 17th of April from 10 am to 12 pm:
- Stage 2 – remove excess grout and seal
Please Note:
As this workshop involves broken ceramics, we will be providing all participants with the appropriate personal protection equipment and conduct a safety briefing at the start of the day.
We ask that you please wear closed-in shoes.
What we’ll provide:
- Tools
- Materials
- Light morning tea (inc. tea & coffee)
What to bring:
