Starring:
Cheva - Debut performance of a new ambient project from Eva Williams (formerly known as aftersine)
Lullaby - Drawing from ambient and noise music influences, Lullaby creates dense and otherworldly soundscapes from a patchwork of field recordings, synthesised sounds, and improvised and effected instrumentals
Amy Sargeant - a Meanjin (Brisbane) based visual artist, musician and graphic designer.
Through installations of sculpture, audio and video Amy’s work responds to her disillusionment with the dysfunctions of the Australian political establishment by reframing the elements of political spectacle. Amy deploys the Situationist method of detournement to de-stabilise motifs from mainstream politics, activist iconography, symbols and visual cultures.
Lou Jansen - Lou Janssen performing with self-coded effects and sound processors. Manipulating live synthesiser and acoustic recordings into something wholly unique from its source.
Yvette Ofa Agapow - Yvette reconciles her need to disconnect from the emotional and physical self with the honour of embodying her ancestors through the use of sampled traditional sound and a more recently born experimental acoustic noise-making practice. She also peepee in her pants.
