Picnic Social - Noise In My Head, The Goods (live), Kali

Picnic is rounding out March with a triple shot of heavy hitters. Pop down to Opera Bar for one last Picnic Social Sunday for the month, where the tunes will be playing and the drinks will be flowing from 3 PM to 10 PM.

Leading the lineup is extra special Melbourne guest Noise In My Head. The host of the revered NTS radio show of the same name, now the ears behind one of the country’s most respected reissue labels, Efficient Space, his bag is always packed with a stack of odd delights you’ve never heard and wish you’d discovered yourself. Local three-piece The Goods will also be making their Picnic debut, bringing another live vibe down to the waterfront, and party host Kali completes the meal.

Art for Picnic Social comes from the incomparable Sydney via Venezuelan artist Nadia Hernández. Her visual arts practice is informed specifically by the current political climate of her home country and her diasporic experience as a Venezuelan woman living abroad. Accompanying the original design for Picnic Social is a 3D treatment from one of our favourite multifaceted talents Mikaela Stafford.
