Celebrating a massive month of programming at Opera Bar, Picnic Social is capping off February with a stacked lineup of favourites round things out. Bringing a selection of our city’s most talented, including emerging and established live acts and DJs, the series defied the rain to give one of Sydney’s most iconic locations what it desperately needed: a hefty dose of the feel-goods.

Art for Picnic Social comes from the incomparable Sydney via Venezuelan artist Nadia Hernández. Her visual arts practice is informed specifically by the current political climate of her home country and her diasporic experience as a Venezuelan woman living abroad. Accompanying the original design for Picnic Social is a 3D treatment from one of our favourite multifaceted talents Mikaela Stafford.
