Join us for back-to-back nights of queer-focused theatre and help us decide on our Queer Playwriting Award Showcase Finalists for Midsumma Festival 2021. Eight shortlisted applicants will debut a fresh fifteen minute excerpt of their play in the form of a staged play reading.

Four finalists will be chosen to present their work at Midsumma Festival on Tuesday 27 April with the hope of being awarded best new queer focused play of 2021.
Experience new work, engage with new playwriting talent and choose which queer lensed plays you would like to see develop further.
