Queers Draw This Exhibition

Queers Draw This is a fun, safe and accessible space for queers to meet and enjoy drawing other queers (human and non-human). We meet in East Coburg and via Zoom with great models and guided instructions on how to draw.

To celebrate our first year of drawing together we are holding an exhibition in Coburg - which will also be live-streamed for people who can't attend in person. The exhibition will include the drawings, cartoons and zines that participants have created over the past 12 months as well as life-drawing exercises that you can join in with (or you can just watch). The models will be costumed and you can even learn how to draw with your eyes closed!

We will have Auslan interpreters and Audio description of these exercises, and strongly encourage Deaf and Disabled queers to attend in person or via the live-stream. If you've always wanted to draw, but been too shy or scared, then this is a good introduction - or if you love drawing and want to meet other arty queers, then this promises to be a fun afternoon.
