Rock School Holiday Workshop

For youth aged 11-18 years who play a rock band instrument or sing.

School’s in these holidays for young rock musos aged 11-18 years at Macquarie Conservatorium’s Rock School. Enjoy a fun week of afternoon workshops, playing in rock bands on your instrument – electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, vocals or keyboard. Get expert tips on playing rock music and song-writing, plus great jam sessions together as bands, with professional band players as your coaches.

At the end of the workshop, the bands will give a short showcase performance for family and friends. Rock School will be held at Macquarie Conservatorium corner of Darling & Bultje St Dubbo, where’s there’s plenty of room for bands to rock. A great way to spend a week of your school holidays!

Some experience playing your instrument or singing is required, this is not for complete beginners. Instruments for this workshop are electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, vocals and keyboard.

You need to bring your own instrument and some equipment – a great sound system will be supplied for the showcase concert.

You can register as an individual and we will match you into a band, or if you already have your band organised, all band members can register and you will stay together in your band.
