Swan River Ramblers Swing The Underground

Drawing repertoire from swing, trad. jazz, bebop, blues, New Orleans style music and more, The Swan River Ramblers combine a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity.

Led by bassplayer Pete Jeavons, the Swan River Ramblers (SRR) was formed in 2017 and, true to their name, the group initially performed as a roving quartet aboard the Paddlesteamer Decoy as it cruised the Swan River during WA’s warmer months.

With many sold out shows aboard the PS Decoy now under their belt the Ramblers have added a drummer to their ranks and started to make a few appearances on land too, at venues such as Jazz Fremantle, The Ellington Jazz Club, The Duke of George and Lyric’s Underground.

The band will take to the stage at Lyric’s Underground for a third time on Saturday December 11th featuring Adam Hall (trumpet/vocals), Adrian Galante (clarinet), Ray Walker (guitar) Daniel Susnjar (drums) and of course Pete Jeavons (double bass).
