Vanessa Larry Mitchell is the one-woman driver behind the enterprise ‘Larry Laughs Loud’ – The fastest growing comedy club in the Northern Rivers: “My dream is to build up a regular comedy scene around the Northern Rivers region and beyond, with regular Open Mic opportunities for beginners and higher level shows to bring professional showcases to the area.

Bringing the pros to the rural parts of the region also allows people who are serious about comedy a chance to work with high-level performers. We have a very diverse scene around Lismore and have been able to run all-female line ups, shows for International Day of People with a Disability as well as LGBTQI events.

We also offer Public Speaking and Comedy Development workshops to the public.”
