The Bunker Spoken Word Series: Grand Final

The Bunker Spoken Word Series returns in 2021 bigger than ever, with a new hybrid competition that sees our best local performers go head-to-head with poets beamed in live from across the nation, all vying for victory and a huge $1000 cash prize.

Embracing this brave new world, The Bunker Spoken Word Series presents two heats and a Grand Final spanning the physical and digital worlds of spoken word.

In a near dystopian display of big screen and live performance storytelling, the top five from each heat will compete in the Grand Final event at the Imperial Hotel Eumundi, competing for the title and a tidy sum of $1000 in prize money.

Damien Becker, winner of The Bunker Spoken Word Series in 2020 will also give a guest performance.
