The Comedy of Errors - Shakespeare in the Gardens

Popular Director Tai Gardner is returning to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens to direct Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors”.

The Comedy of Errors is Shakespeare's first comedy, and definitely one of his funniest. The comedy is fast and furious, the plot gets wilder and wilder as the play moves to its climax.

Pandemonium ensues when two sets of twins, separated in a shipwreck when babies, meet up twenty-five years later in the town of Ephesus. Mistaken identities create farcical confusion in one of Shakespeare's most hysterical comedies – The Comedy of Errors.

This is the 23rd Shakespeare in the Gardens for Directions Theatre opening on Friday 29th January 2020 and plays Tuesday to Friday at 7.00PM until 26 February. EXCEPT there is no show Friday 19th Feb.

Finish time approx 9:30pm
