Get ready for one of Queensland’s most anticipated music festivals. After a 12-month pause, the iconic Winton’s Way Out West Fest will return bigger than ever in April 2021, bringing more than 100 Australian artists and musicians together for six incredible days and nights of entertainment across seven venues in one of the world’s most unique outback locations.

Hitmakers Sheppard, Busby Marou and Daryl Braithwaite will be joined by some of our best contemporary country music artists including Lee Kernaghan, The Wolfe Brothers, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey and many more. They will all feature in a special 2-day concert event at the Eric Lenton Festival Grounds.

The township of Winton will also present a uniquely curated program that includes music legends, songwriters, alt-country, Bush Balladeers and Americana artists. The lineup boasts multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, Sara Storer, country songstress, Anne Kirkpatrick, living legend Chad Morgan and national treasure, Joy McKean whose feature film, Slim & I, will screen in the rustic Royal Open-Air Cinema.

The historic Winton Shire Hall will play host to a raft of themed events including Salute To Waltzing Matilda, a Slim Dusty Tribute (featuring the king of country’s original band), Songs and Stories, The Aussie Bush Ballads Show and all capped off with a huge family bush dance featuring iconic Australiana outfit, The Bushwackers. The program will round out with ukulele workshops, The Cake and Cordial Sessions (‘A flashback to a sweeter time’) and Rise Up, a showcase of new and emerging artists.

Children Under 13 are free with a paying adult.
