Terribly Good Cinema presents: Zero Patience (1993)
“Fun, lively and often outrageous” - LA Times
When Patient Zero’s ghost (Normand Fauteaux) emerges from a gay bathhouse jacuzzi several years after his death, he soon connects with the only person who can see him - the chief taxidermist at the Toronto Museum of Natural History and 19th century explorer, Sir Robert Francis Burton (John Robinson).
Part-experimental, part-political absurdist musical comedy, Zero Patience challenges the urban legend that Patient Zero, a Canadian flight attendant, was responsible for bringing AIDS to North America. The film features the bizarre but catchy musical numbers ‘Pop-a-Boner’, ‘Contagious’ and ‘Butthole Duet’ that will stick with you long after the film is over.
Duration: 97 minutes
Rating: MA15+ Film contains nudity, sexual references, and musical numbers!
Director/Writer: John Greyson
Cast: John Robinson, Normand Fauteux, Dianne Hetherington, Richardo Keens-Douglas
