Chidstock is a community fundraising event, filled with music and compassion.

This event is all about embracing community spirit, coming together to help our neighbours in their time of need by pulling together to raise much-needed funds to help two of our locals, Kim Hogan and Glenn Lavery, who have given so much to all of us!

If you have ever known someone who has faced the cancer challenge, then you know well the emotional, physical and financial stress they are up against. Both Kim and Glenn have not been able to work as the cancer has progressed.

What’s Happening?

We have 17 amazing musical acts to entertain you all day long. We will have a food van serving delights from our smoker and the grill, and the restaurant will be open as usual. As always, the drinks will be cold and the entertainment will be Hot! Hot! Hot! Come and enjoy the music, the beer garden with lots of marquees for shade ~ and help us to support our friends in their time of need.
We are asking for a $10 donation at the door – and there will be raffles and lots of activity for everyone to enjoy!

Who are Kim and Glenn?

Kim has been one of our long-standing local musicians who has given her vocal talent, helping hands and giving spirit to countless events. Glenn is a talented entrepreneur who works in the building industry. Together, they are currently fighting one of the most difficult battles that any couple can ever face. Kim has end stage cancer, and Glenn has become her full-time carer. These two people have given tirelessly to our community in so many ways, and now it is time for us to reach out and give our assistance to them.

If you are not able to attend on the day but would like to donate, click the Donations Page above. Every dollar helps, we thank you for your care and support.
