Courage to Care Turns 30!

Courage to Care is a ​​not-for-profit organisation that is taking a stand against injustices in the community and focuses on educating Australians about the dangers of prejudice, racism and discrimination.

They are celebrating 30 years of empowering students to stand up against racism and encouraging them to be an ‘Upstander’ and speak out against these behaviours.

Courage to Care creates awareness of the issues surrounding racism, prejudice and discrimination and motivates students to challenge attitudes and behaviours and not a bystander in these situations.

Courage to Care is making a life-changing impact on students in Victorian schools free of charge, with a group of skilled and dedicated volunteers who want to see a change.

The Community Upstanders Program’s focus is to transform bystander behaviour into ‘Upstanders’. This day will include a series of workshops delivered by experienced volunteers to empower people to stand out against racism and bullying in our communities

To celebrate 30 years of education, Courage to Care will be hosting a Breakfast Education Panel where an open discussion will be facilitated to generate ideas and collaborate for a proactive community to face discrimination. This event will empower positive change in the community and assist in building collaborative connections.
