Riverside Theatres presents Clock and Spiel Productions’ Freud’s Last Session, a thought-provoking work by renowned American playwright Mark St. Germain (Camping With Henry And Tom, and winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award), from Wednesday 9th to Saturday 12th March.

Freud’s Last Session centres on legendary psychoanalyst – Dr. Sigmund Freud – who invites the young, rising Oxford Don – C.S. Lewis – to his home in London. On the day England enters the Second World War, Freud and Lewis clash passionately about love, sex, the existence of God, and the meaning of life, just weeks before Freud was to take his own.

Freud’s Last Session is a deeply touching play filled with humour and exploring the minds, hearts and souls of two of the 20th Century’s most brilliant thinkers as they address life’s biggest questions. An imagined meeting which delivers real human insight and emotional impact.

Starring Nicholas Papademetriou (Ensemble Theatre’s The Odd Couple, Sport for Jove’s Othello) and Yannick Lawry (Clock and Spiel Productions’ Molly Sweeney, ABC’s The Checkout), Freud’s Last Session is set to engage minds and stir souls on the Riverside stage.
