Friday Double Feature: Emma Zammit & Dave Eastgate

Hosted by Daniel Muggleton, on Friday 3rd June, our headliners will be Emma Zammit and Dave Eastgate!

Emma Zammit began her standup comedy career in early 2008 after her sister decided it was time to move her one liners out of the lounge room and enrolled her in a standup comedy writing course for the sake of family harmony. After graduation, she was inspired to work the hard yards and tighten her comedy antics in Sydney and Perth and she has never looked back. Off stage Emma likes to entertain parents with her Podcast and Facebook page “The Parents” that showcases the funnier side of parenting.

Dave Eastgate is an actor, stand-up comedian, writer and musician who lives in Sydney, Australia. He starred in the ABC/BBC/Comedy Central US smash hit, Ronnie Chieng: International Student and was nominated for a Logie Award for his portrayal of a cancer patient in Channel 9’s critically acclaimed drama series, Doctor Doctor. Dave starred alongside his comedy idols, Glenn Robbins, Magda Szubanski, Gina Riley & Jane Turner in the Comedy Channel’s flag ship, sketch comedy series, Open Slather. Dave also appeared as Ken Blundell in the smash hit Muriel’s Wedding the Musical.
