The mighty 13/14 piece GRAND WAZOO – Kings of Soul are back at MEMO Music Hall St Kilda on Saturday, SEPTEMBER 10, 2022, bringing you a Feast of Entertainment – showcasing iconic 60s-70s songs that were the soundtrack across generations, along with rare Soul and R & B gems and band tunes.
Formed in 1981 by John Montesante, who still leads the band today, Grand WaZoo is Australia’s premier Soul Extravaganza – presenting timeless music from Sam & Dave, Ike & Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd, Martha & The Vandellas, Al Green, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, The Shirelles, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Earth Wind & Fire and many others – with something for everyone.
