Get Your Hands On Hahndorf This September

Hahndorf will celebrate their rich linage of artisan culture over a month-long festival in September called Hahndorf. Handmade. Handcrafted. Handpicked, with more than 300 intimate events and experiences in and around the Main Street of the historic village.

After winning the Best Regional Event in the 2021 South Australian Tourism Award, the popular event builds on the success of previous years to provide more ways to get your hands on Hahndorf.

Presented by The Advertiser and proudly supported by the South Australian Tourism Commission and the District Council of Mount Barker expect brand new events to join the signature favourites.

New events include workshops to learn everything from; playing pool, making the best coffee through to cooking an Italian feast or join the Beerenberg cooking class. Learn the healing nature of crystals or try your hand at Drag Queen Bingo. Learn indigenous weaving or get your spook on at a haunted event.

These new events join popular favourites from last year like creating your own personalised collar for your furry friends, a German beer masterclass, through to the uber luxe electric bike wine and produce tour, Paella cooking classes, cocktail masterclasses, truffle chocolate making cheesemaking and so much more.
