Hope Island Jazz and Cabaret presents Asabi Goodman

​Asabi is a singer and actor with almost 40 years of experience in vocal and stage performance. She was a founding member of the awarding-winning, all-female a cappella group, The USC Sirens (Los Angeles, CA). She has spent many years honing her performance skills by singing with chorales, performing on stage in a number of musicals and theatre productions as well as venue performances.

Asabi has just finished up the Aretha Franklin RESPECT stage show and it has been announced this week that she will be playing Queen Latifa's role in the stage version of HAIRSPRAY. Rehearsals start soon so Asabi will be performing her last show at Hope Island Jazz and Cabaret on Thursday 19/5 ($25 - $35).
