Jackie Bornstein + Tim Wilson Feature With JMQ Jazz Ensemble

JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to feature fine jazz vocalist, Jackie Bornstein on DEC 8, 2022 at 7pm, alongside guest alto-saxophonist, Tim Wilson with an all-star line up: Ben Robertson, Tony Floyd, Michael Harding + John Montesante.

Jackie has performed Jazz in venues in Australia and abroad for more than two decades and has developed a particular talent for storytelling through song. Known for her richly toned vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie imparts a range of emotions through her use of varied vocal timbres. Performing her favourite tunes from yesteryear, Jackie shall include songs by iconic singers like Peggy Lee, Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Astrud Gilberto, Blossom Dearie and moreat the Golden Gate Hotel.

Tim is an in-demand woodwind musician, band-leader, composer and arranger with a stellar biography over recent decades in Australia and abroad and is always a treat to have on the JMQ bandstand. A truly special evening is in store with these outstanding artists.
