On April 21, JMQ Jazz Ensemble welcomes back jazz songstress, JACQUELINE GAWLER - so expect some spirited and sultry Latin jazz grooves during the evening, along with her favourite standards.
Jacqueline lived in Rio de Janeiro for sometime and immersed herself in the Brazilian culture and music, learning Portuguese and developing a joyful mastery of the local genre - including samba and bossa nova grooves of jazz artists like Sergio Mendes, Antonio Carlos Jobim, João Gilberto et al.
JMQ shall also feature a wonderfully gifted saxophonist, RICHARD PAVLIDIS, who will blow you away - with Michael Harding (piano), TBC (drums), Kim May (bass), John Montesante (trumpet & flugel). Doors 6:30pm. Jazz 7pm. À la carte meals and drinks will be available all evening. Doors 6.30pm. Live Jazz, 7.00pm. All welcome!
