Serve It, Smash It, Love It - 2022

Have you ever wanted to meet new people in a fun and social sporting environment? Thought about playing badminton, or have not played for a long time?

Melbourne Smashers is a LGBTQIA+ and allies social badminton club, playing three times per week at MSAC Albert Park.

Join the group who are holding a Midsumma Festival Open-Play session where they are encouraging people to come along and give badminton a go free of charge. No experience is necessary. The club will have coaches available to help explain the basics or more experienced players can have a game with some of the club members.

The club plays most Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays and each session attracts 60+ players. Monthly social events are also organised as a way to get to know each other outside of the court.
