Silurian + Adore + Ambur - Cactus Room

On April 14th, 3 of Melbourne's most creative post rock bands are joining forces to bring you a night of haunting, ethereal, cathartic noise at the best venue on high street: The Cactus Room. Each band, distinct yet complementary, explores sonic avenues previously uncharted, taking you through a greater spectrum of emotion than perhaps you'd think possible.

Post punk / noise rock trio Ambur will open, featuring multiple layers of instrumental looping and unique sonic modulation. Ambur delivers a sound that is dense with dreamy swirling noise melodies yet sharp with anxious australiana punk tension.
Silurian will follow this with energy packed, hard hitting rhythms accompanied by sparse, atmospheric, and sometimes jarring guitar artistry like you haven't heard previously.
Finally, Adore will take to the stage providing a frantic post hardcore / emo performance. Tight, energetic, with beautiful melodies that cut like glass.

This event will take place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin nation. Sovereignty was never ceded.
