Join Australian soul and blues singer Mahalia Barnes – together with a cast of over 80 singers and musicians – in this uplifting benefit concert inspired by music, cultures and faiths from around the world and staged to raise funds for HEAL, a charity providing expressive therapies to young people from refugee backgrounds.
Mahalia, the daughter of Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes, has toured nationally and internationally supporting artists such as Bruce Springsteen, The Roots, Bryan Adams, Tom Jones and more. She will join Irish folk band Sásta, Grammy-nominated artist Tenzin Choegyal who will appear as part of Matt Hsu’s Obscure Orchestra, QPAC ensemble in residence JADE New World Collective, soloist Deline Briscoe and the magnificent voices of the QPAC Chamber Choir.
Hosted by award-winning human rights champion Mariam Veiszadeh, enjoy an evening of world music and connection in this family event while supporting a great cause that’s close to home.
