Zimbabwean songstress thndo celebrates her critically acclaimed live production of her new record Life in Colour.

Displacement, global perceptions of blackness and confronting white supremacy through the lens of the immigrant experience – Life in Colour drives complex social issues out of the peripherals and into plain view.

Thndo reminds us: “Black is not a monolith, the way you are doesn’t make you anomalous” – touching on the idea that belonging, acceptance and self-expression all need to intersect for freedom to be truly realised.

The African diaspora comes together for a celebration of Zimbabwean culture and music at this Bla(c)kout event. Artists such as KYE, Francoistunes, Zii and take to The Corner Hotel stage for this not-to-be-missed evening.
