Learn how to carve your own amazing wooden spoon using age old traditional techniques and your own hands by attending this small group one day workshop. Led by your tutor, Matt Eliason (AKA Spoonguy) who has over 5,000 hours experience in spoon carving and whose spoons are enjoyed around Australia and around the world.
The day progresses at a gentle pace, with plenty of one-on-one attention that is only possible in a small group workshop environment. Become one with the wood, flow with the grain, feel the stress fall away as the wood shavings fall to the ground.
Morning tea, tools and materials supplied. Please bring your lunch. Option to purchase specialist carving knives at the end of the day. See booking website for details.
There is a $50 deposit on the booking website listed above and the final payment will be on the day.
