WORKSHOP: Medicament for your Predicament: OPEN LAB!

'Medicament For Your Predicament' is an experimental pharmacy of political medicines. From antidotes to ire and diuretics for disillusionment to cures for capitalism – tonics, salves, gargles and powders for our soluble and insoluble bodies.

Take part in OPEN LAB! a hands-on workshop to diagnose matters close to the heart and formulate your very own remedy and recipe for transformation.

Drawing on her unique sensory, botanic and social practices, artist Cat Jones creates space for participants to share recipes passed down through generations and across diverse communities whilst experimenting with new approaches to collective and mutual care for our complicated times.

SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Places limited - bookings required.
- Must be vaccinated to participate.
- Face mask required
- Suitable for ages 16 and above.
- Duration 3.5 hours.
- All materials plus light snacks provided.
- This event contains plant materials.

By participating you acknowledge that information and content you create will contribute to the artist's project and may be collected for presentation, research and publication purposes. You may be photographed or filmed as part of documentation and optional media release will be provided for publication or broadcast of any images that include you.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All ingredients and equipment will be provided but feel free to bring:
- An edible or medicinal plant from your backyard or just the idea of one - from the backyard of your mind
- Any book or article about plants or remedies for us to make a temporary library
- Or nothing at all!
