Youth Master Class 2: Special FX Make Up/Air Brushing

This Master Class will cover a range of special effects concepts and the chance to experiment with different materials and techniques.

Combining hands-on activities with product and technique demonstrations, participants will use a range of materials, delivered under strict supervision within WH&S guidelines, PPE and MSDS.

Hand tools, teaching aides, materials and PPE are supplied. All participants will be provided with a clear insight into special effects techniques for movie and theatre purposes.

Meet The Facilitator | Rob Worship

Robin is a style director who has worked for some of Australia’s best-known theme parks, and he is sought after by theatres for his special effects make up applications and wardrobe expertise. He owes much of his success, creativity and costume design insight to his own experiences as an actor and performer since beginning his career in theatre at the age of 15. He is a certified pattern maker and an accredited SFX artist, a qualified hairdresser and hairdressing trainer and he has owned and operated successful make up academies. Designing and making costumes for television, film and stage, Robin skilfully interprets needs to transform concepts into reality. He is renowned for his depth, practical process and the superb quality of the finished product. Among his clientele are theme parks including Movie World and Aussie World, city councils, government departments, sports clubs and associations, entertainment venues, shopping centres, television networks, films and theatres.

DURATION: 6 hours including morning tea and lunch
