Jackie Bornstein with JMQ Quintet

JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to feature fine jazz vocalist, Jackie Bornstein on March 2nd alongside soulful guest saxophonist, Richard Pavlidis with an all-star line up: Ben Robertson (bass), Tony Floyd (drums), Michael Harding (keyboard) + John Montesante (trumpet).

Jackie has performed Jazz in venues in Australia and abroad for more than two decades and has developed a particular talent for storytelling through song. Known for her richly toned vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie imparts a range of emotions through her use of varied vocal timbres. Performing her favourite tunes from yesteryear, Jackie shall include songs by iconic singers like Peggy Lee, Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Astrud Gilberto, Blossom Dearie and more at the Golden Gate Hotel.
